Giant Sundial In Hurley, WI

This sundial is located in Iron County, WI near the shores of Lake Superior just miles from the Upper Peninsula of MI. This area was the heart of mining in WI at the turn of the century. The hour numbers are marked by pieces of granite which were removed from a mine as the drill bored into the earth. Read more here

At the recent Atlanta Gift Show we found a company that makes a fabulous cleaning cloth for bringing the luster back to solid metals. After learning from the owner of the company and watching him demo the cloths we knew we had found a great solution for our customers looking to bring some life back to their once polished brass sundials. The cloths are designed to clean solid brass, bronze, aluminum, silver and pewter. Do not use on a patina finished sundial unless you want to remove the finish.
