With our 15% off sale* going on, now is the perfect time to give your loved one a complete sundial and base combination.
Here's a look at 4 of our best designs:
Our #B28 Cast Aluminum Sundial Base is based on a historical design and looks fabulous with just about every garden sundial we make. This is our number 1 design and has been out of stock for several months. 25" tall. We're happily back in stock and ready to ship in time for Christmas.
For those looking for a clean, contemporary base we're now in stock with our new #B81 Tubular Base. This 32" tall base (4" push into the ground for stability) is made from quality stainless steel and features a matte finish. The stainless is nice as it mirrors the colors of the surrounding foliage when placed in the garden. Works with all of our sundials except armillary designs.
The #B65 cast iron pedestal with it’s tree trunk design pays homage to the faux bois garden design seen in the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont in Paris. Standing 16” tall, this base looks great with our cast iron sundials.
New for us this year is the mid century influenced #B92 Bird In Pines pedestal. At 28” tall, this base is made from hand welded steel and wire and has an airy yet strongly visual appeal.

The story linked below from the Hawke's Bay newspaper details the troubles of one such public dial in Napier, New Zealand. In a short 3 years, the parks department has had to replace two brass gnomons on a beaitiful marble art deco sundial at Napier's Marine Parade.
